I’m hoping you can help me with a desperate quandary i have regarding my neighbors. they have a coop and it is so smelly. the backyards are not big and they do have it as far away as they can, maybe 50 yards away from my backyard (maybe less), but the smell is so atrocious that i can’t use my backyard, screened in porch or even open the windows in the back of the house because it smells so. Although there is no exact ratio for chicken to coop are but then the recommended ratio is one chicken per three square feet. well, the bigger space — the better. the same is true when it comes to neutralizing the smell. providing sufficient space for chicken in the chicken coop will lessen the accumulation of odor-producing waste.. We have 5 chickens, they have chicken coops where they can lay eggs, the chicken coop is covered with small fence where chicken can walk and do their thing, the ground is where they can walk and poop, is a mixture of soil and sand, every morning i clean their poop on the ground by covering the poop with soil and tilling the soil by hand at the.
A well ventilated coop will let in some fresh air even when closed up, which also lets out any bad odors that have accumulated. allowing the chickens free range time or access to a run can help in controlling the chicken coop poop smell. if they're pooping in the yard instead of the coop it cuts down the smell right at the source.. These neighbors are not approachable and have been nasty to me before the birds. i don’t smoke, and there is no smell from my chickens. i cannot prove it, but my neighbors have vandalized my coops, and i have had to fix them. my neighbors also have a hound dog that makes a lot of noise, and i have never complained.. No stinky smell and only once a year cleaning your chicken coop. here is how you do it... !!!!! click 'show more' for resources !!!!!....
